The Joker pretty much looks exactly as advertised - except his mouth is more open in the photos which made his smile look more evil but whatever.
I will admit, as my first "fairly articulated figure", I am disappointed. I tried to pose him like he is in the advertisement photos (also on the back of the box) and to my surprise, he couldn't successfully do 2 of them. The one with his arms up in the air - well his feet can't handle that pose, so he can't stand up. And the pose with him bowing, his feet can't do that either - and as an added surprise his arm popped out when I attempted to put it behind him.
All-in-all I didn't buy them for them poseability, I bought them cause they looked good.
+1 cause he looks like he should.
-1 for the arm popping out, and the inability to pose like the pictures.
