Photos of my DC Covergirl - Poison Ivy

I'll be honest, I only bought her because she was damaged and sold for 40$. In fact - that's the only way I'll be getting anymore Covergirls since I already paid full for all the ones I wanted.

The "damage" when I bought her was that a tiny point of her hair broke off; it's mostly unnoticeable unless you go and look for it. In any case, she's pretty nice. Her breasts are HUGE - so huge that she has some really gigantic sideboob showing.

WARNING: Her finger breaks off ridiculously EASY when attaching her and the shovel on to the stand. It makes sense now why I saw so many ones of her for sale with the exact same broken finger - I too broke it off when attaching her, which makes her my most disliked Covergirl. If you're not extra careful, you'll snap off that tiny little finger fast...which frustrates me because it was such a silly design. It's nice to look at, sure but when at least 40% of the statue's finger breaks off? Please invest in more time NOT designing flimsy parts.

She does however look fantastic paired with Harley Quinn ::

Photos of the Kotobukiya Catwoman Vinyl statue.

This is certainly one that I longed for; she's beautiful and blue goggles always sucker me in. So when I went to Montreal Comiccon and had my heartbroken after finding out someone did indeed have it in stock AND sold it for 75$ - I quickly searched for the cheapest one I could find online (120$). It's a Christmas present to myself - much like the Star Wars R2D2 Xbox is my birthday present to myself :p

I was so excited to rip open the package, despite paying an extra 20 for custom fees. I was actually quite surprised at the size of her; she was way bigger than I anticipated. All-in-all, I was satisfied with how much I paid, I love her to bits. The goggles....they please me so very much. I will pretty much buy anything that has Catwoman in blue goggles XD
She does not attach to the stand, she just merely sits on it - which is fine by me.

Anyway, on to the photos~

Pictures of my DC Covergirls - Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Zatanna & Hawkgirl.

Today was an awfully boring day, and it was also one of those days where I just did NOT want to change out of my PJs. So when I put pants on and realized how annoying those freshly-washed-tightassed jeans were...I quickly changed back. I lounged around unsure of what to do to entertain myself - and then I thought of this blog and my pics. Since I LOVE to look for real-life, non advertisement photos of the statues I consider buying, I thought "Hey, I might as well help out other like minded individuals".

So here are my beautiful DC Covergirls!
I'll start with my first pride and joy:

Catwoman

The first Covergirl I bought, and the one that started by dark descent into statue collecting. She's quite a beauty, with her shiny skin-tight suit.

Special Touch (Something that sticks out for me): Her little cat shaped belt buckle.

Harley Quin

My second Covergirl. The first time I went to Fan Expo I really wanted a Harley figure but not many had any nice ones, and the Harley CG had her release date pushed back - so a year later I scored her.

Special Touch: The blood on her mallet.

Zatanna

I bought her at the same time as my Hawkgirl (cause they gave me a good deal). I was SO happy I found her for 100, because believe it or not, she's selling for A LOT more on online stores (160 is the average). So when I bought her and Hawk, I got both for 90 each. Not bad in my books, I paid 90 for my other 2.
All in all - she's absolutely gorgeous. I never really knew much about Zatanna, but I fell in love with the statue, so it quickly became a must have.

Special Touch: Her face.

Hawkgirl

Bought with Zatanna, I really wanted a Hawkgirl statue but there aren't many nice ones out there. I personally would've preferred her helmet down but what can I do. To be honest, I bought her mainly because I can feel myself becoming an avid collector - as in...I want ALL of the Covergirls. She was the first CG that I have to put into the stand myself, which probably explains why she falls out so easily...

Special Touch: Her wings.
